This story is very good.  I am enjoying the way Joyce is keeping her hand in, but still letting Buffy do what she needs to do as best she can - trusting her. 
Can't wait to see what will happen next.

I have a feeling Angel's little temper tantrum is going to signal the downfall of the "angst filled, tragic love story" that was Buffy and Angel. Teenage girls are capable of a lot of self-deceit, but with someone to care for and someone depending on her the pity party isn't going to last very long.

I love the calm kindness between Spike and Buffy, so caring with each other.  Such a treat!  Wise Joyce's presence is just what they need. Great contrast with the shock/horror of Angel and Dru's visits.

Lovely chapter.  William is shining through in a wonderful way.  Joyce is being her typical strong, sensible self, and she's just what Buffy and Spike need.  Thanks for the update!

Oh, one more thing, I hope Spike gets more Slayer blood!  :) 

This story is so bittersweet, I love how they're having this quiet moments when he is really there, but a part of me doesn't want them to fall in love because of the crappy curse.  Anyway will be waiting to see how thigs work out in the summer's house.

Oh this is my favorite chapter yet!  Lovely bonding with sane, gentle Spike!  Even Joyce is in on the bond....perfection!  Lovely voices and touching, lump in throat moments.

Love that Spike understood his dark princess' motives and tried to make sense of them to Buffy too BTW.  Poor demented Dru...another of Angel's leftover "problems" who paid for HIS sins.  Still hoing Buffy finds out William's history with Angel (best if it comes from...or overhearing for her to believe).




I am truly enjoying this story so very much.
