How very brave of Buffy, to confront Angel instead of letting him weave his little pattern of deceit and allowing herself to believe it.

Two chapters!  Thank you, thank you!  Awesome writing again.  Typical Angel trying to blame Angelus.  At least Buffy is seeing the truth now, thanks to Spike/William.   As always, looking forward to more.

Glad Buffy told Angel in no uncertain terms that she knew he couldn't blame his actions on Angelus even before he had fully formed that lame excuse! Shame on him! And now I'm wondering what it is that is keeping Spike grounded in sanity-- maybe being able to focus on a young blond girl? And I'm glad he wasn't trying to bad-mouth Angel and make Buffy defensive and try to find excuses for the overgrown forehead.
Great chapter, Buffy is really growing up, but her characterization is realistic and true to the situations and I love how you write newly-souled but without-a-Hellmouth-and-First Evil-trying-to-torment-him-into-insanity Spike.

Angel seems to be on his best behaviour and genuinely remorseful, or is it an act???  Nice update.
