When I think back, the Scoobies hadn't had that much interaction with Spike at this point. Their reactions were pretty decent really. Nice miaow turn from Cordelia and cool Oz was so kind.

How much do i love Oz for trying to reach out to Spike, but doing it in a subtle way. That werewolf is the best! Poor Spike. First he had to answer about the coat, and then face the scoobies all looking at him like an experiment gone awry. Hopefully the slaying will release some tension for both of them

I'd like to lend my voice to Kathleen's. I too thought that you did the Scooby reaction really well here. Not mean, but not super-welcoming. Just a "meet a new person" curiousity/awkwardness/dunno-what-to-sayness. I liked!
Also liked Willow's 'you've broke up!?'. =D Loffle you, Willow, cut right to the heart of the gossipy goodness.

And a new lifestyle begins on shaky feet. Nice! Very logical plot development...I can see Joyce uggesting Spike going along and putting into words something they both want but didn't want to voice.
Nice moments about the duster....yes his past matters, especially to note the differences at this point.
The reactions of the scoobies was realistic...not sure what to say actually and a mix of curiousity and uncomfortableness. Catty Cordy is in charater too. LOVE that it was Oz to speak to Spike...I always thought there would be a natural friendship there for so many reasons...the coolness factor for on plus the killer on a leash aspect as well.
Really progressing nicely.

Yep, they're going to be spending a lot of time together now - non-crazy time as well, so they're going to be getting close (of course!). Thanks for the comments on Cordy and Oz- it's been so long since I watched episodes with them in, I was worried I might get them wrong.
