"Maybe she wasn't raped at all." Yea, same old, if your culture isn't my culture and choices aren't my choices, then you are trash.
Buffy needs to keep her head (and heart) on straight and ditch Mr. Initiative,
Hmmm... there might be more going on there than it appears... :)

That doesn't sound too good for our vampire.

I'm intrigued by Spike's almost confession about something...
Oh, Spike... should've come clean when he had the chance. Thanks for the review!

So Forrest thinks that as Buffy is talking to Spike aka Hostile 17 she wasn't raped? Yeah, that makes sense, in the sense that it doesn't. And Riley is going to come back during the day to 'take care of' Spike when he has nowhere to run? Brave boy. Thank God for the tunnels....
I think Forrest is hinting that Spike was the guy she slept with, and that she didn't need to be forced...

You know, Buffy was way too quick to discount Xander after that Hyena incident.

BTW, fun fact about Hyenas: it the FEMALES that are the aggressive sex, not the males; it's so extreme that it is physically impossible for male to forcibly mate with a female. Plus there are several other reasons why the whole "Xander was possessed" spiel is total bullsh*t.

Pretty much any other canine species and it'd hold up water but the writer chose one of the very few species on this planet that are the exception. It makes me wonder if the writers were planning on turingin Xander into a villian.

Well, we'll certainly deal with Xander further in later chapters, but personally, I disagree with you that he was at fault, regardless of actual hyena behavior. Everything's a metaphor for something else - it doesn't have to have a 1 to 1 correlation. Definitely don't think they were planning to turn Xander into a villain because of this.

I love the twist - it really ups the ante!
Thanks! :)

“Experimental. Not supposed to be used on humans. God, Buffy, if I’d known he was gonna use it on you, I never would’ve let him.”

So you would have let him use some other drug?  *cough*  I'm not sure if that was implication that was meant, but it was the first one that I got.

Otherwise, great love all around.  Like how she remembers Parker and totally forgets about Parker's friend.  XD   And Spike's little secret ... I'm getting awfully curious.

D=  Cue the chase/trap scene!  *gasp*  Stay safe, Spike!

*rolls eyes*  Why is Spike harmless with everything except talking to girls?  Then he suddenly becomes dangerous.
I will not argue with that implication... it could be that Riley just misspoke, or it could be that he just let something slip he didn't want Buffy to know... :) Yay for mysteries!

"Why is Spike harmless with everything except talking to girls?  Then he suddenly becomes dangerous."

Well, Spike is very pretty. Girls like him. Jealousy all around! :) Thanks for the review!
