Set after “Fool For Love”, Buffy and Spike ended up sleeping together during the night on the back porch, which has its consequences. The previous events with Riley have taken place sooner, and he left for South America before Joyce gets sick. Joyce doesn't die, and Dawn is just Buffy's sister, no key, and no Glory. So I guess you can say it goes completely off cannon and onto A/U from there.

Buffy just found out she's pregnant.

Buffy told Willow that she's pregnant but she left one detail out, who is the baby's father.

Willow knows that Spike is the baby's daddy. Who is next on Buffy's list to find out?

Giles, Xander, Anya, and Tara have found out about the pregnancy.

Xander blew up and stormed out of Giles’ flat. Buffy confessed to Joyce about the pregnancy.

Dawn confronted Buffy about the baby and Spike. Willow and Tara made some magical lotion to protect Buffy, and Giles placed a phone call enlisting Wesley’s help.

Xander went to Buffy to apologize after Anya chewed him out about his reaction. Buffy and Spike had a falling out in the scrap yard after she slayed the pink blobby demon.

Buffy and Spike apologized to each other after he offered to walk her home from rescuing Dawn.

Anya informed Xander that she wants to have a baby. Giles apologized to Buffy for his reaction to her pregnancy, and Buffy and Xander had a disagreement in regard to Spike.

Buffy told Spike that Xander knows about their blossoming friendship. Angel found out that Giles has been in communication with Wesley, and now is suspecting something is wrong in Sunnydale.

*Nominated at Spark and Burn Awards Round Two* Spike and Buffy exchanged friendship gifts, he a cell phone, and she a gift card to the Gap. And of course Xander blew up because of Spike's gift. (surprised? Not really,lol) Giles revealed to Buffy that he enlisted Wesley and his sister, Amanda, to help him find out more on slayers vampire relations and reproduction. And Anya informed Buffy about a pregnant slayer who had a vengeance wish years before.

The gang threw Dawn a surprise party that Spike attended as well. Clem slipped up and told Spike that Buffy was pregnant, leading the vampire to believe that Riley was the father of her baby. And Dawn went to the Bronze to celebrate turning 15.

Giles and Buffy made up and she admitted that she had planned to tell Spike about the baby soon. Dawn celebrated her fifteenth birthday with her family then at the Bronze later that night, where she made her birthday wish, causing Buffy to tell the truth to Spike. He blew up at her and left her standing in the rain as he stormed off into the night.

Dawn came clean, explaining what happened between Trinity and her. Anya explained the difference between a vengeance fairy and a vengeance demon, and Spike informed Buffy that he needed time to himself in response to her lying to him about the pregnancy.

Spike rushed Joyce to the hospital after she collapsed at the gallery. Buffy and Spike are still on the outs and Amanda found a small connection between a German slayer and Buffy.

Drusilla made a small stop to Sunnydale mending the rift that formed between Buffy and Spike, or did she? Harmony tired killing Spike upon seeing him and Buffy tied up but Dru beat her up instead.

Amanda was able to gain access to the Council’s most prized books through deception. Willow couldn’t understand why Buffy would stand her up and not meet up at her home like she requested. And Slayer and vampire made up.
