Buffy is broken after her mother’s death, Spike visits her to give condolences, but the whole encounter turns out absolutely different then he expected.

It's late season 2, and Spike discovers Buffy locked out of her house after patrol. Shenanigans ensue.

Assume Buffy and Spike made their truce a bit earlier than in canon - leaving them some time before Acathla - and that Joyce still doesn't know Buffy's the Slayer. Memories have been adapted to include Dawn.

Buffy is acting very childishly (no, really) can Spike cope This is a relatively long one before you get to the bitey - just thought I should say. Posting in blocks of 5 chapters seeing as it's done and it's long and it'll take too long to post chapter by chapter.

Faith is the Slayer. Her sisters are a mystical key and Buffy, a normal girl who would rather be anything but. She has always wanted more in life, to be different. The only one who understands is Spike, her vampire companion, much to her sister's chagrin. When Buffy befriends the wrong kids at school, along with their sinister father who takes a special interest in her, Spike may be the only one to bring her back, before she loses herself completely.

Post-'Checkpoint', Spike's Number One Fan gets a tumble. Buffy walks in and is shocked and appalled, yet she can't seem to walk out. A 'missing scene' that's Spuffy at heart - and Splydia at groin. (Though not in a graphic way.)

Post-NFA Spuffy happy couple-ness. Buffy wants Spike-sex. Buffy gets Spike-sex.

Set immediately post-Once More With Feeling and drastically off-canon. Buffy runs out of the alley, away from the emotional danger of her kiss with Spike, only to encounter a danger far greater. Banner by Tanit.

One shot. Set AtS. I had some trouble reconciling Spike as portrayed in AtS with the Spike of Season 7 on BtVS. Here's my take on why.
