My entry for this round of Seasonal Spuffy.   Set in an AU future (perhaps following any one of my future long or short fics where Buffy and Spike are back together and living in the UK – pick one where Spike hasn’t shashued:  Home is Where They Have to Let You In, Old Friends, Everytime You Say Goodbye, or any of the short reunion fics,  etc.) in which our favorite pair are visiting in Los Angeles for some reason that I may or may not make up later. One evening they encounter Detective Decker and her unusual partner in crime solving. Crossover with Lucifer. Could be a road trip fic if you squint hard enough….

An interlude during "As You Were," before Riley enters Spike's crypt. I needed an explanation of why Buffy said "William," even though I don't believe she saw what he wanted her to see. Also a commentary on the episode itself.

The hardest moment of Spike's unlife came in its last minutes. Occurs during the events of "Chosen."

The battle in the alley at the end of NFA is only the beginning of the struggle for Spike, the only survivor, but by no means victorious. As he struggles to survive his new life, and eventually escape it, who can he trust to help him escape, and return to the Slayer he still loves?

What really happened in the basement before the last battle with the First?

A future follow up to Hearts Breaking Even. A sad Buffy is sent back in time to spend 24 hours with human William - who is now an adult.  Written for a prompt at Trope Bingo. The trope was "losing virginity". 

Spike has had enough of constantly being put down by Buffy and decides to leave - but he wants to talk to her just one more time

This story goes AU during the episode, Entropy. After witnessing a single kiss shared between Anya and Spike, Buffy is confronted with her true feelings for Spike. She's terrified that it might be too late to repair the damage she's done, but she can only hang on to the hope that Spike will be able to forgive her for all the heartache she's caused him.

A Work In Progress – Summary: Crossover with AtS. Canon through the end of Buffy, Season Six. Canon for Angel through Season Three. Many relationships will be discussed or alluded to here, but the focus will be on Spike-centric relationships. This picks up several months after Grave and goes AU after that. It focuses heavily on the evolving nature of relationships – family, friendship, and romance. Humor, Angst, Drama and whatever else strikes me as we go. Rated strong R for violence, sexual situations, adult themes. If you have not read Book One of The Kindred Series yet, you may want to check it out first here at The Bloodshedverse. A lot of references will make more sense if you do. I hope you enjoy this story.
