After the Initiative is “shut down” a fatal decision is made that will change the face of the world and uproot everyone Buffy knows before placing her in the greatest jeopardy of her life.  A new world is born but is it one they would wish to live in?

This action sets the Slayer off in a dark path, one that leads to self-destruction, as well as anyone standing in the way of her vengeance.

Finding herself in what was once her worst nightmare, Slayer turned vampire Buffy Summers wants revenge on the one who made her. However, when she makes an unlikely ally in the process, she finds herself on a journey that changes her understandings of good and evil, love and hate.

The emergence of tidal waves and sudden flash floods leave Buffy and the gang clueless as to what is going on, and more importantly, how to stop it without having to sacrifice someone in the process!
