Shit, this is great.
But I really don't see Buffy cursing so much. even when she's uber pissed I don't think she would say "fuck you"... She's almost puritan in that aspect. And she's much more sensitive and emotional.
Just think of how Buffy and her mom treated Dawn like she was a fragile little 2 year old with a delicate mind.
That's prolly similar to Buffy's childhood.

I never had Buffy say it before, but everybody's capable of it if sufficiently provoked. I thought it would show just how angry she was with Spike if it came out then. Televison won't allow a female heroine to curse, but Buffy's emotional and human and mad - I thought it would burst out. But I'm glad you liked the chapter anyway.

I'm loving the contrast of this evil Spike, not in love with her, but intrigued by her none the less.You're doing a fabulous job!

Got a little distracted. You’re very distracting.
Well, turnabout is fair play, I suppose.
This is terrific, with the training, the teasing, the cutting in, the slow dancing leading to all sorts of new possibilities. I love that Buffy is so clear on what she wants (or doesn't want) in a way that isn't strictly vampire=bad, but about her own standards for herself.

With her interacting so much with Spike, Buffy's 'vampire bad' would be starting to wear thin, so she can think beyond it to what it might mean to her personally. I never understood why Angel didn't train her. But he never seemed to really help in canon, just squandered all his chances.

That's what I thought. Angel never really helped. Spike at his most evil would inevitably end up helping. I'm so glad you like it!

I love this dance they're doing, and not just the literal one, though that was pretty hot too.
