It always drove me crazy how Xander couldn't understand Buffy's relationships with two vampires, when he was in love with an ex-demon who caused more pain and devestation than Angel and Spike combined.  Looking forward to more.

Good chapter, everyone's feelings are simmering and you can feel that this is leading to possibly more truths being revealed. I like the way that you have certain characters so wrapped up in their own thoughts that they can't even begin to see what someone else may be feeling.

There's a lot of selfishness exhibited by Xander and Wilow.  Buffy is trying to cope and they don't just don't get it!   Wondering what Willow is worried about in that last sentence?

  Ugg, I am finding Both Willow and Xander completely frustrating and exhausting.  The sad part is I think this is fairly accurate as far as thier characters are concerned.

I wasn't for sure I was going to read this story because I didn't know if I wanted angst but you are such a good writer I have decided to give it a go. But if something doesn't happen to Xander I will scream. He needs a big wallop up the side of the head, major.  But I need Buffy to do the deed. She needs a good screaming match. No more repression. Just go for it.

I wouldn't blame Dawn if she called up Halfrek and put a curse on Xander. Preferably involving him never having sex again.

Oblivious thy name is Xander. I guess the only feelings that matter are his. Who cares if Buffy is sad about Spike being gone. They broke up right? So why was he angry about Spike and Anya? They broke up too. So he should be over it right? It doesn't work that way. But he is too dense to see it. Buffy really needs a monster to beat up. A really good fight to get that anger out. Otherwise it will be Xander's face it gets taken out on. Hmm that actually sounds like a good idea!! I feel bad for her though, slinging burgers can't be easy and the pay sucks. Having to put out cash that she really didn't have to get her car back sucks big time. You'd think Willow would fork over some cash to help out the house. Selfish girl.
