Very good start to the ficcie. I really enjoyed it now that I had time to try and get a little of my reading done. Nice descriptive beginning - can't wait to see what happens in the next chappie.

AA - really intense death scene! And, the heartless Scoobies won't let Spike touch the girl he loved. Perfect. In a mean writerly kind of way. The idea that Buffy dies when she closes a hell dimension with her blood made no sense because the writers already established with Angel that you get sent to another dimension (hell or otherwise). Angel didn't leave a corpse lying around. Looking forward to reading the rest.
