hmm I wonder what Spike has planned and why he is so pleased to have run into Buffy in LA. Poor Buffy seems completely disenchanted with her life and everything in it. Not surprising considering all she's been through and the lack of gratitude from those she helps

I really liked that Buffy even surprised herself at her lack of compassion toward the girl, it shows that she is not as empty inside as she might think. This looks like it is going to be interesting and I am looking forward to following it.
