I'm *loving* this fic--around every corner, there's something unexpected. And yet, the people are still themselves--not completely the same as they were 3 decades ago, but still recognizably themselves. Recognizably themselves, and yet, not caricatures.  It's a fine line to walk, but walk it you do . . . you *dance* along it, reveling in creating complexity so your readers can revel in their turn.  

 

Faith's driving sounds as scary as Spike's driving was. Buffy getting used to Faith, this Faith, sounds intriguing and I am looking forward to it. Thanks for the update, I really enjoyed it.

Well Faith kinda did come on to him when she was in Buffy's body and no doubt would have in the basement if Buffy hadn't come down stairs. So I'm all caught up now, and must wait like everyone else for updates. hope you do soon. Very interested to know where this is going. Great chapter, thanks.

Dragged my feet on starting this one, because it looked like it would be long, but it really is very exciting and well done. Can't wait for more. Oh, and a contract signed by a 15 year old is definitely not binding; since this society seems very set on its rules, that should still be one of them - and even if they later changed it, it would have been in law in effect on the date the contract was made - so not legal.

Which one - the car or Buffy? Great chapter and I love the way the shocks just keep coming! Can't wait to see what happens next. This should be a fun ride; it will be virtually the first time Buffy gets to talk to someone else.

Buffy's vampire tinglies must really be broken, not to sense it in Faith. She should have been setting off bells and whistles.

I wonder if Faith visits Angel? He did a lot of good for her.
