This chapter was so touching ... I am openly weeping. This was a very emotional, heart wrenching, but full of love piece of work.

*blush* thanks, this one and the smutty chapter were the ones I was the most nervous about. Strangely writing the speech I had less trouble with than with the rest of the story. Thanks again for being so kind to read it. *hugs*

Xander must have done some big time forgiving to pay for one of those rings which cost about $15,000. And, does Buffy ever do anything on time? I hope you're going to let Spike find a way out of this goody goody angel business and get back to Buffy. Loved Buffy's speech.
Thanks for your review and yeah, the council started to pay their employees better ;) at least in my version. Glad that you liked the speech, it's one of the parts, that I was really nervous about.

Oh Eve, what a wonderfully heart-breaking chapter. For him to be there with her for his last assignment was perfect and being with her at night. Glad that he made peace with the scoobies and it just blew me away that she knew he was there. Xander's love and compassion for Buffy pain was a huge surprise. Having Spike's ashes made into a diamond was a fantastic idea. She has him always, but it would be so much better if she woke up with him in her arms. To finally sleep after ten years was what almost to much for me. *sniff* Read it again, it was great, thanks.

I am so happy that people like what I wrote and that I could make you "sniffle" ;) Xander could relate to Buffy's pain through his own loss of Anya, and everybody grows up after a while, even Xander. The diamond wasn't my idea; I read about it in a German newspaper and it's a fact that you can use the ashes to be part of a diamond. I just had to bring it in the chapter, because it is such a great idea. Chapter three is up while I am writting this. Maybe he is gone, maybe he is still there ;) You will have to look for yourself :)

Chapter 1 aka "explainy chapter" ;) Chapter 2 aka "the heartbreak chapter" Chapter 3 aka "the a bit funny chapter" and I think you will guess what the 4th chapter will be about :D
