My Seasonal Spuffy fic that I posted today. The theme was "new beginnings" so this fic is set in the future. The prologue is set a good ten years after NFA. Spike and Angel got their shanshu and Spike and Buffy have been married for ten years...

Some glimpses into life in the Pratt household as the years pass without the man of the house. Significant only in the way they reflect the way Buffy and her children have adjusted (and not adjusted) to the loss of Spoike.

Some more flashbacks to Buffy's life in last six years or so - brought on by a scary/hopeful event that begins the unraveling of the secrets that
everyone has been hiding...

One secret is revealed, and Buffy mulls the consequences of her impulsive actions so long ago.

More secrets revealed - and Buffy has some 'splaining to do with her kids. It goes about as well as you might expect...

We learn a little more about Will and Joy; Buffy reveals her secret and learns another one

Will and Joy begin their plan, but before they can do much, their lives become much more complicated...

Precautions are put into place and the man of the hour returns. Will he and Buffy fall into each other's arms? Sheeyah! Right. Like that's going to happen.

The Pratt family reunion is a little harder on Buffy than she might have expected.

The kids have a surprise for Spike - which leads to a loud "conversation" between their parents. Tiny steps are made towards working things out -

The phone call changes everything...

Lots of exposition and a plot hole gets plugged. :)

Things are going downhill while Spike and Buffy are settling their differences.

Bad things are happening - will Spike and Buffy be able to stop them?
