Written for Twisted Spuffy on the episode Some Assembly Required -- Spike arrives in Sunnydale intent on going after his third Slayer. But things don't go as planned when Spike finds out that the girl he had his eye on was the Slayer, Drusilla wants him back and there's some undead creature going after teenage girls.

Summary: Written as a birthday pressie for my delightful, beta-shaped Goddess, Oracleholly! Part of the Moving Backwards-verse, but can be read as a standalone. Set sometime after Spike and Buffy's initial meeting. During a routine patrol, the Slayer happens upon a scene that leaves her breathless. So caught up in things that she knows she should not be witnessing, Buffy doesn't notice the creature behind her. What results will change the Slayer's life forever.

Rated NC-17 for Smut, smut, a tiny bit of non-plot, and oh, yeah, more smut! Contains: Nudity, some semi-harsh language, and, you guessed it, smut! (And no little amount of voyeurism.)

The funeral had been in the afternoon, he’d expected everyone would have gone home but there was someone in the cemetery tonight. It was Buffy. Buffy and Angel, the grand torturer himself, flaunting their great and tragic love beneath the midnight sky. Spike comes across the two of them the night of Joyce's funeral. He's unsure how he feels about it... and can't decide what he means to do.

Goes off-canon after Destiny. Spike goes off to find Buffy after fighting with Angel, but finds nothing but misery. Starts off very dark, heavy on the angst. There may be light for our heroes in the end, but they have miles to go before they can sleep... 

A ficlet set at beginning of Season Six

Future fic set loosely in the comic world (references to season eight events) but many years later. The Cleveland hellmouth is in trouble and someone thought long dead has called for help for himself and the resident slayers. Buffy to the rescue...

Setting: Season 7 Post Dirty Girls. Spike suggests a way to improve the odds in the upcoming battle. Revamped again 3/5/08, it is now triple the length of the original version. I'd appreciate any comments.

Ok, here’s the sitch. It’s early in a Season V that has been tweaked to suit my purposes. Spike hasn’t had his little revelation about his feelings for Buffy, and she, of course, is clueless. Riley has had his surgery and begun his macho identity crisis. Joyce and Dawn won’t be mentioned because they aren’t part of this story. Riley has gone back to Iowa for an extended leave, partly to recover from his surgery and partly to figure out what he wants to do next. He was apprehensive about being gone from Buffy for so long, and not at all reassured when she tells him she will take Spike with her for extra muscle if he’s so worried about her. He reminds her of her words to him before he lost the enhancements that were killing him, when she told him that if she “wanted somebody with super powers, I’d be dating Spike!” She rolls her eyes at his implication and they do not part on the best of terms. Many thanks to Oracle Holly for her read overs and suggestions as I struggled with how to get the story going. *hugs* Holly. And to Always_jbj whose fic gave me the way to get Buffy out of the hole I was digging for her.Disclaimer: Joss never hired me, so obviously all the characters still belong to him.
