Timeline: Vague Season 5

Post-series, post Angel. Some references to events in canon. Probably rated higher than needed, for violence and nudity (but as yet no strong sexual situations).  Also Spike can be a potty-mouth when he wants to be.

After angering a demon who wants something from him that he can't give, Spike is left helpless and pretty nearly hopeless too. How can he expect rescue when everyone he knows has either died or thinks he's still dead himself?

A little follow up to Discovering Daddy; set three and a bit years later. Spike tries to persuade Buffy into a little quality sexy time, but she has her own reasons for resisting his charms.

After the Initiative is “shut down” a fatal decision is made that will change the face of the world and uproot everyone Buffy knows before placing her in the greatest jeopardy of her life.  A new world is born but is it one they would wish to live in? 

How else does one celebrate the Day of the Dead but WITH the dead you love the most?  Dawn and Spike have a reconnection at Joyce’s grave.  Maybe Buffy will learn a few things by accidentally eavesdropping. 
Setting: S6 between “All the Way” and “Once More With Feeling”

Setting: S7 Summary: Just before the battle against the First Evil, Buffy decides not to let anything wait too long where her two vampires are concerned. This is the third part of the trilogy started in To Kill the Girl and continued in You Have to Love Her. Spike and Buffy are in an established loving relationship now, but when Faith wakes up, it means big trouble for Buffy. And that's only the half of it.

Where is Buffy and why is Spike the only one who is worried? Will the peroxide vampire be able to find her before it's too late? What has happened to the Scoobies and will they save Xander before he really becomes Dracula's butt monkey? WIP

“I know I’m a monster,” Spike said to Angel. “But ‘least I know how to treasure a beautiful thing. Not you. You destroy everything you touch, good, bad, and indifferent, everything you get your bloody hands on, from Drusilla, to your slayer, even to an ancient sodding treasure!” Spike confronts Angel after Angel destroys the Gem of Amara.

"Angel used to be my world," Buffy told Spike. "He turned me inside out, and when he left me, I felt like I was dying. I thought... if anything could make me feel alive, he could." Buffy tells Spike about her trip to see Angel at the end of Flooded. Takes place at the beginning of Life Serial.

“I played a stupid game with you last night," Buffy said. "I know I did. And I want to know why you didn’t try to do... what I think you probably could have done with me.” Buffy speaks to Spike after her drunken evening in the episode Life Serial.
