Response to challenge #494, starts during "Crush" and goes AU after that. Spike asks Buffy why she won't be with him. The main reason is clear: he's a souless vampire.

Spike returns to Sunnydale during the events in “Band Candy” and has a similar reaction to the chocolate bars as the other adults in town. Will Buffy come to his aid when his William side emerges and he is at a loss of how to handle the situation, or will she walk away from him to handle the change in both her mother and Giles instead? And what will happen when Spike returns to normal and is faced with Angel?

Spike finds Buffy at the Bronze on New Year’s Eve and helps her put her life into perspective a little, along with discussing what happened between them over the course of the prior days and weeks. After Spike leaves, Buffy has a change of heart and goes to his crypt, wanting to celebrate the best way she can. Set after “Wrecked”.

Reunited in the wake of the Senior Partners' wrath, Buffy helps Spike reclaim a bit of his past, allowing them to find each other again in the process. A 'happily-ever-after' sort of PWP (but with a good-sized serving of plot), set post-NFA. Complete

THIS IS NOT MY STORY, but don't flame me yet. This story was started years ago as a Round Robin, and was never completed. Nikkolequade (thank you) got permission from the authors to post it as a challenge on Bloodshedverse (#226). With their pemission (thanks again) I am reposting the original story here - and then will post my conclusion separately. I just thought the story was too good to be forgotten. Oh, yeah the summary. Buffy and Spike pose as a master vampire and his thralled slave to infiltrate a human slave auction run by vampires. Of course, everything that could go wrong, does, leaving the pair in more than one compromising situation.

Buffy must masquerade as Spike's slave in order to infiltrate a vampire human slave ring and rescue Tara. Of course almost everything that can go wrong does. Nikkolequade posted the bloodverse challenge (#226) to finish this classic fic called “Ring Around the Buffy.”

Buffy Summers was hoping that when she moved to Sunnydale, she could forget about all of the 'Slayer' stuff that was thrust upon her in L.A. These hopes are quickly smothered though when she finds out that the librarian at Sunnydale High is also her new Watcher. Even worse, the small, quiet town she's just moved to is floating on a Hellmouth. Apparently, destiny has a slightly tighter grip on her than she thought. This story is a series rewrite, starting from Welcome to the Hellmouth. It is built on the simple question of, how would things have gone if Buffy had met a different ensouled vampire on her way to the Bronze that night?


 

Post NFA, Buffy comes to terms with her feelings about Spike and Angel. A tongue-in-cheek parody, mostly of how skewed Buffy's thinking is.

Season 6, set immediately post “As You Were.” The night after breaking someone’s heart, Buffy realizes that if she can dream it, she can change it.

After the destruction of Sunnydale, Buffy makes her way to Wolfram & Hart, and what she finds there will bring her tears, joy, and greatest love she will ever know.

Summary: A sequel to Defining Me (helps to have read that first). How the Watcher’s Council reacts to the new slayer.
