When Dawn falls victim to her magicks the Scoobies come up with a risky plan that will take Spike and Buffy on a journey that will change their lives forever. Written for Seasonal Spuffy.

Response to BSV Challenge #36 – “In the episode “Who Are You?”, what if, instead of Buffy and Faith switching bodies, Buffy and Spike got switched?” A/N: Okay, so the challenge said Buffy and Spike get switched “instead” of Buffy and Faith, but I couldn’t do it because I just LOVE the scene where Faith – in Buffy’s body—gives Spike that speech about how she could ride him at a gallop until he popped like warm champagne. So, needless to say, I had to include that. **snicker** And, well, that just changes things a little. Come on, be a sport, okay?

So he had won. He had survived. The universe was rent open, his soul was fetched from whatever nether-space it had been stashed in, and seared into his being like a brand. And then it began. Spike sighed and leaned against the tree he’d been lurking under. Joyce’s wariness faded at Spike’s obvious defeat. "Would you like a cup of tea? I’ll meet you on the back porch." Spike's final conversation with Joyce. Set after Crush.

Another one for Suffy Haven's fic for banners - this one has Spike going into a coma from Dana's drugs, and while his hands have healed, he won't wake up. Angel goes into his head to bring him out, but finds out more than he ever expected to about his grandchilde's relationship with Buffy. He makes the call to bring in the only person who might be able to wake Spike up.
