Set Post NFA, Spike seems to be the only survivor of the battle, but he has amnesia. Will he and Buffy find their way together?

Post Chosen/NFA. Buffy has never moved on from mourning Spike's sacrifice in the hellmouth. But Spike's back, and trying to pluck up the courage to let her know. And what better way than to what her while she is sleeping, and invade her dreams...

Things can't get any worse for Spike. But when Warren shows up in Buffy's backyard with a gun, Spike realizes he was wrong. In an attempt to kill the Slayer, he shoots Dawn, putting her in a coma from which she won't wake up from. This action sets the Slayer off in a dark path, one that leads to self-destruction, as well as anyone standing in the way of her vengeance.

Believe it or not, I thought the universe really needed another fill-in-the-blank-between-Smashed-and-Wrecked fic. Actually, I started with Smashed and went off in my own direction from there. Life post Acathla was anything but simple for a broken-hearted Slayer. Kicked out of home and thrown out of school, Buffy thought she’d had nothing left to lose. She was very wrong. Killing Angel broke her already damaged heart and sent her on a self-destructive path.
