Love the chapter!  My one beef is the use of the term  "karate moves".  By "slicing her hands",I can only assume you meant a knife hand strike (shuto-uchi) but it also sounds like she punched.  If you or your betas don't know martial arts, just use generic kicks and punches. We readers will get the idea.  But we martial artists do not like generic terms for non specific techniques.

Nice plot advance  - knew something was going to go wrong  - One thing that really needs to happen for Spike is that with that ring he has to understand that big responsibility comes with it -

Hope that he can control his rage and talk to Buffy about this plan of action for getting that ring back instead of having everything that is starting to go right for them turn into a huge fight -

A very exciting chapter! Some good action, a little romance, some flirting and now a new demon to fight! Plus, the required misunderstandings . . .

please don;t make spike lose the ring, that happens in EVER story . be original and let the vampire be able to keep his only means of walking in the sun

ugh, i can't believe what an idiot giles is.  buffy told him she couldn't do that, and he just assumes that her getting closer to spike is just an act, well, i hope he gets very disappointed when he finds out it's not.  he's helping them out, and giles still thinks that spike is a threat, dumbass.  i hope giles gets a taste of reality soon, before spike does really do something stupid.  him and buffy just need to have a decent conversation, and she needs to tell him that she's pregnant.  i'm waiting impatiently for that.

This is awful.  I hope that somehow Buffy and Spike talk this out.  Things were going so well.  I have faith that something good will happen.. Nice chapter even with the hurt feelings.
