A future follow up to Hearts Breaking Even. A sad Buffy is sent back in time to spend 24 hours with human William - who is now an adult.  Written for a prompt at Trope Bingo. The trope was "losing virginity". 

Spike dismissed the memory. His thoughts were just some old remnant of his human life, a deja-vu that had nothing to do with the reality of the situation. They were vampire and slayer, not a lady and her escort. Spike considers the evening he spent with the slayer, the night of the truce. Set after Becoming.

Set in the world of Hearts Breaking Even and The Last Good-bye, this takes place much later. Buffy has a daughter, daughter has an English teacher Buffy needs to talk to, teacher looks way too much like Spike for comfort, but Buffy agrees to go out to dinner with him anyway. This is only Buffy/Spike if you squint... but don't worry, he's very much there.

AN: This takes place at some unspecified time in the future. Somewhat later than now (2015), but not so far in the future that it’s all that different from our time. If we go by the approximate date in The Last Good-bye, Joyce was probably born in early 2009, which would make this 2025 or so. And the location is pretty vague because I didn’t need a specific location for my original ficlet.  And, if we assume (which we kinda have to) that this ensued from the events in The Last Goodbye, which was sort of a sequel to Hearts Breaking Even set quite a few years after those events, then I may be forced to consider the whole thing another series….even though the first fic began in season one and this one takes place over 20 years later. 

Spike isn’t getting what he really wants out of his secret “relationship” with Buffy, though things could be worse. Just his luck, D’Hoffryn has decided to celebrate Gurnenthar's Ascendance on the Hellmouth after a romantic disappointment of his own.

Set in BtVS Season 6, after Wrecked, but before Older and Far Away. Also after AtS S3 The Vision Thing.

“You can’t blame a girl, Spike. You’re all covered with her. I look at you... all I see is the slayer.”

“I know I’m a monster,” Spike said to Angel. “But ‘least I know how to treasure a beautiful thing. Not you. You destroy everything you touch, good, bad, and indifferent, everything you get your bloody hands on, from Drusilla, to your slayer, even to an ancient sodding treasure!” Spike confronts Angel after Angel destroys the Gem of Amara.

Very retro "fix season 6" fic in which a slightly less damaged Buffy and a smarter Spike find a place to relax and be themselves without worrying about the Scoobies or slaying.

“You really think he’s changed that much?” Spike asked. “That because he can feel remorse, he’s not still a demon? He wants to own you, and feed on you, and cause you pain, and you think he’s not a demon?” Spike shook his head. “Believe me. I know Angelus. I know what he wants.” Spike tells Buffy how Angelus used to hunt. Set before Something Blue

Buffy comes to confront Spike after that dream. Set after Out Of My Mind.

“Who said I was blaming you?” Buffy yelled at Spike, her tone not matching her words. “Who said anything about it being your fault? What in the hell makes any of this about you?” Spike finally tries to impart his lame apology for Riley’s departure. Takes place after Into the Woods and Triangle.

Spike takes Buffy to the beach to investigate something unusual.

Spike pulled out the small hardcover with its tiny lock. Buffy kept a diary! He trembled as he looked at it. It was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen apart from Buffy herself. He scrabbled at it, grinning, excited to get into her mind, know her thoughts, be part of her. He was wildly excited, suddenly. This was better than her things, her territory, her scent. This was her.

I hug Drusilla close, ready to let her take me down with her, as she did a hundred years ago. Break all the barriers, shatter all the rules, fill me with evil blood and tear out my broken heart, so I no longer feel the pain. Spike's point of view in the Bronze and his crypt during Crush.

Joyce looked at Spike as if he was a little boy claiming he had permission for a biscuit, when she knew he didn’t. “I’m not letting you in, Spike,” she said with a sideways little smile. Spike sighed and leaned against the tree he’d been lurking under. Joyce’s wariness faded at Spike’s obvious defeat. "Would you like a cup of tea? I’ll meet you on the back porch." Spike's final conversation with Joyce. Set after Crush.

Takes place after "Something Blue," the consequences of the spell brought something that Buffy and Spike never would have expected.
