Spike was still and silent, his eyes closed. She wanted to wake him, but... she couldn’t bring herself to do it. He lay there so peaceful, so calm, so content. Still curled on his side as if she were still in his arms, his head on the pillow, breathing gently. The sight of him was perfect. Buffy, preparing to write her farewell note in Touched.

“Yeah, Spike always was a romantic,” Angel said with scorn. He glanced at Buffy. “It’s not love,” he pointed out. Buffy and Angel spy on Spike and Drusilla out and about. Set in season 2, after "Lie To Me".

The sequel to Prologue to Life/I Know You. We follow both "our" Buffy and Spike in the early, alternate dimension Sunnydale; we peek in on "our" Dawn, Giles, Willow et al back in "our" dimension; and, we get to explore a whole new dimension with poor little season II Buffy who was unceremoniously kicked out of her own body by Willow's spell. The sequel to my award-winning fic for the LJ community Good_Evil, The Bodyguard; this one picks up right where that on left off with Spike on his way home with the white queen in his pocket and Buffy waiting to see if the Initiative can take care of Riley. For all those who felt the UST needed to be resolved at some point.

Post Chosen/AtS season 5. Buffy and Spike are sent back (separately) to thwart Glory and prevent Buffy's death and resurrection (and subsequent rise of the First Evil). Was supposed to be mostly humorous as they try to pretend to each other that they aren't who they are, but as you'll see, that only worked as long as it took them to get into an argument.... Which changes everything. Especially since they have ended up in fairly early season 4, which means they have to get through a whole year without making any major changes in the world. Tall order when just the fact that they are there has already changed things...

NC17 rating might be a little strong, but you know these two....  No warnings as posted, but it is a wip and I may have to come back and change that as the story develops. It also probably isn't 100% canon, which should be pretty obvious with two very non-canon characters in a time they shouldn't be, but just in case...

Set in the world of Hearts Breaking Even and The Last Good-bye, this takes place much later. Buffy has a daughter, daughter has an English teacher Buffy needs to talk to, teacher looks way too much like Spike for comfort, but Buffy agrees to go out to dinner with him anyway. This is only Buffy/Spike if you squint... but don't worry, he's very much there.

AN: This takes place at some unspecified time in the future. Somewhat later than now (2015), but not so far in the future that it’s all that different from our time. If we go by the approximate date in The Last Good-bye, Joyce was probably born in early 2009, which would make this 2025 or so. And the location is pretty vague because I didn’t need a specific location for my original ficlet.  And, if we assume (which we kinda have to) that this ensued from the events in The Last Goodbye, which was sort of a sequel to Hearts Breaking Even set quite a few years after those events, then I may be forced to consider the whole thing another series….even though the first fic began in season one and this one takes place over 20 years later. 

Begins with the beat down in Dead Things and twists the episode to a Spuffier conclusion. Takes a little help from Tara to get the ball rolling though... Thanks to Rahirah, Kristen, Eowyn and Always_jbj for all the help with this fic.

Post NFA -  Set very loosely in the LA of After the Fall comics. All you really need to know is that Angel and Spike survived the demon army the Senior Partners threw at them. When that didn’t work, the Sr. Partners encased the city of Los Angeles in a dimensional bubble, which allowed the demons to quickly take over the city. Humans are rapidly becoming an endangered species, although some of those unable to find hidden shelters are being kept as slaves before being killed.  Angel and Spike work to save as many of them as they can. Because the comics at IDW wandered around a bit, I’ve decided not to worry about “canon”, it’s just too complicated. So, I’ve borrowed the setting and mention of a dragon, but that’s it. Don’t look for specific demon lords or events. This is my story set in that world.

Just a little ficlet for Seasonal Spuffy's free day. Set in early season nine, but you don't need to know anything about the comics to "get" it. :)

For those who've not followed this AU Season Five series-- (and why would you? It was never intended to be a series, and the original story was probably written ten years ago, with another big gap to the next one, and then another gap to this one) --- there is no Buffybot because Spike has already had the real thing, and he and Buffy have a budding relationship that is veering betweengood friends and lovers. 
 
The first ficlet – pure pwp – is “How Can Something So Cold Make Me So Hot?” a very short, non-canon story, in which Spike helps Buffy out with a bad sunburn. An eye-opening experience for both of them...
 
Its sequel is When the Ice Has Melted” and it begins the next day in the same now-AU Sunnydale where the events of the first story occurred.
No porn at all in this one, with or without plot, as Buffy and Spike deal with the aftermath of their encounter and what it revealed to them about their relationship and possible feelings for each other. Riley doesn’t take it well, which drives Buffy and Spike even closer together.
 
That closeness has become obvious to everyone, even Xander, by the time this third fic begins a day or so after the end of “When the Ice Has Melted”. We jump from that little scene to some time later when it’s approaching Christmas.
