AU, takes place sometime soon before #35 of the comics. Buffy and Spike muse on time and circumstances that have kept them apart and brought them together. (Spoilers up to and including #35)

After the Sunnydale Hellmouth fell before her eyes, Buffy had thought that her life would change. Time passed, six months to be exact, and Buffy found she was wrong. She tries, but just can't seem to let go, although one drunken phone call could be just the change Buffy is looking for.

Written for Seasonal Spuffy. Spike kisses Buffy at the end of Out of My Mind and wakes up panting and in horror at the revelation that follows…but not in this reality, when it wasn’t a dream at all. This is season five as it could have been, as Buffy struggles with her attraction to Spike and the feelings that inevitably follow.

When Buffy steps out of the Bronze one night for some air, she's hurtled into a new world that will change her irrevocably...as will the blond vampire lurking in the shadows...

During Normal Again, Spike’s the one who’s affected by the demon. But this is a different kind of demon, and to Buffy’s dismay and Xander’s not-quite-horror, Spike suddenly finds himself madly in love with Xander…

[Crossover with Angel] Still reeling from their victory over the First, the Scoobies are forced to flee when they discover that the rest of the world has been brainwashed by Jasmine. While Buffy and Spike try desperately to understand what they mean to each other, the other Scoobies begin to disappear from their mysterious stronghold into a world that may prove to be the one thing that can finally defeat them...

What if instead of sending Andrew to help out Angel & crew with Dana during "Damage", Buffy had chosen to go herself?

Begins at the end of 7x21: End of Days. Buffy kisses Angel. Spike sees. And this time, pride and jealousy interfere...and might just give Buffy and Spike that happy ending, after all. [Written for Seasonal Spuffy.]

Buffy comes across a very reckless woman while doing some post Something Blue thinking. Buffy has discovered that The Hellgod Glorificus captured and tortured Spike in an attempt to make him tell her where the key was. This is the “fang fic” that tried to barge its way into “A New Day”. I've reworked all chaps.

There was no body to bury. There was no funeral. There was nothing but the three rules and the knowledge that a thousand years of torment was nothing compared to a world without her in it. Spike embarks on a journey through the Gates of Hell to rescue the one he loves, but in order to save her, he must risk losing himself.

Spike and Dawn manage to persuade Buffy that what she really needs is some time off, and what better than a night of roller coasters, cotton candy and all the fun of the local fair. She should have known that nothing is ever that simple in Sunnydale. Set in early season six.
