Post Chosen, Buffy and the Scoobies are regrouping and head to LA for Angel's assistance. Angel's all too happy to help, figuring he'll get the Buffy cookies when they're baked. But he fails to take into account that she's mourning the love of her life - and it isn't him. What's he going to do about it?

I wrote this to post for Seasonal_Spuffy. It starts during the Season 2 episode "I Only Have Eyes For You"; and is my idea on what would have happened if Spike had observed Buffy and Angel's meeting in the school. The monks never managed to get the Dagon Sphere to Sunnydale. Thanks to his own research, and full access to the Council's resources, Giles has discovered its existence and location in Elk City, Oklahoma. Viewing it as imperative in the defeat of Glory, he sends Buffy and Spike on a road trip to recover it. Anger, snark, and UST ensues.

This is fluff, a sequel to "Her Way", a romp through all the changes everybody has to go through once Buffy and Spike claim each other. Do read that first, otherwise things might not make sense. Nominated in several categories at the Fang Fetish Awards!

During Willow's thy-will-be-done spell, a little inadvertent claiming takes place and Buffy's life will be changed forever. Just how will she cope being connected to the vampire that is the bane of her existence?

Post-Chosen/NFA. Buffy heads out for a party, determined to get on with her life, but doesn't reckon on the car letting her down. Will her Knight in dark, dark leather be along to rescue her? You bet ya!

Goes off canon – School Hard. Since the Bronze, Spike finds himself entranced by the Slayer, deciding to capture her. However, a battle of wills ensues: as Buffy becomes desperate to escape the blonde vamp, she begins to find him attractive, just as Spike finds it increasingly hard to kill her. Both look deep and find new power and new feelings that previously were unthinkable. Dark fic.

AU during Dead Things. Instead of turning away from Spike's crypt that night, Buffy throws caution to the wind and enters, allowing him to make her feel and stepping onto a new path into the future.

There's much fun to be had in this Chosen/NFA fic. Starts off in Rome, moves to London, and eventually makes its way to the Ohio hellmouth. Buffy struggles to come to terms with who she is and what she wants in life. Meanwhile, all her friends are trying to do the same, except Spike. He knows exactly what he wants, and of course that's Buffy. There's also the mystery of missing slayers, arising key powers, an unexpected pregnancy, and a ghost to deal with.

Spike and Buffy meet again post-Angel: "The point is she's moving on. You do the same, and you might catch her one day." Or she might catch you... (Originally published in 2004.)
