This story takes place about a month after The Ghost in You. It is helpful, but not necessary to read that story first. The story takes place in an AU version of Season 6. Spike and Buffy are together, living in her house and caring for Dawn after Buffy was brought back from the dead. Their newfound peace is due to be shattered when they become pawns in a battle between the Powers that Be and a race of demons hungry for power.

Buffy and Spike have a hopeful reunion in the midst of a mission. They depart with the promise of a future of some sort together. However, hope turns to dismay when Buffy receives word of Spike's sudden death. Will update weekly.

Spike comes back from Africa, in the Summer after season six, and finds that he's not the only one who's changed. When Faith's life is in danger, Buffy and Spike team up to save the day.

Written for WriterCon UK's banner fic challenge going on this week. It called for Spike/Dawn friendship, Scooby teamwork and Spike. Takes place during early Season V.

Set mostly post Not Fade Away, with just a couple of the earliest scenes falling pre The Girl in Question. (I know, I know, but just imagine that Angel's spy was unconscious for a few days and that Andrew has maybe seen Buffy and the Immortal snuggling on the couch a whole once but you know how he likes to exaggerate.)

Set after OMWF, Buffy is at a loss and Spike may be the only one who can help her. A dark angst fic dealing with some extremes of mental and psychological problems, littered with Spuffy.

A few nights after their engagement spell, Buffy has to watch Spike. Problem is, a demon may have just spritzed her with a mind-altering substance. Will Spike seize the moment? Or will they just end up naked? HMMM.
